Just got an email, telling me I got my first web donation!!! EKK! That is a super exciting email to get!! Let me tell you! I still have a LOOOONNNNGGG way to go, but at least now I have something! Training is going really well! I have a new pair of shoes that I'm thinking are magic. I did my long run Sunday, it was only 7 miles, but had absolutely no soreness the next day, which I ran 4 with no issue. That's encouraging.
My fundraiser is this Saturday. I'm praying for a good turn out. I'm really hoping that I'm able to carve out a nice chunk of the monies I need to raise, as well as speak with alot of people about Inheritance of Hope.
I went on a long winded ramble last night to our waiter about my charity and how excited I was to be doing the marathon.. Hopefully my excitement is more contagious than it is annoying. :)
