In 10 days I will be running the marathon!! WHOO HOO!! I'm so excited, and slightly nervous. I've trained hard, but with shin splints that haven't gone away pretty much all throughout training, I've had to limit the amount of miles in order to keep from furthering injury. I have this thought of "what if I didn't train enough".. I'm hoping that's just me being nervous. I've done 18 and 20 mile training. So I'm pretty sure I'm not that unprepared. The thought started when I did my 20 mile last week. It wasn't that awful.. haha. My 18 mile was.. I was soooo sore after. I was expecting that for the 20, but I was suprised how not as sore I was. I'm hoping that's a sign of being well trained. I'm hoping no matter what its incredibly fun journey.
I'm still half a ways from my goal. Its a little disappointing. I was hoping to be over by this point. Times are tough, and its been a challenge. I still have 10 days.. praying for a miracle :)
