fa-la-la-la-laaa la-la-la-LAAA

I love christmas. I do. The house is all decorated and looking pretty. The tree is up and ornamented. *sigh. Although I can't believe how quickly it came. As I've said in previous post, we are big holiday people. Christmas is my favorite holiday. We have awesome traditions. Every Sunday we have a advent dinner (we have 4 candles each representing the angels, shepherds, Mary and Joseph and Jesus. We light one a week until they are lit on Christmas eve). We also usually do one Christmas themed family outing. This years outing was stone mountain Christmas. Which was actually really fun. We rode a train, looked at lights, went to the the top of stone mountain. We also look at Christmas lights.
I've added 2 more traditions. I'm looking forward to the december 1st, when we start them.

I'm doing two advent calenders. The first one is a paper chain countdown. I got the idea on pinterest (big surprise) here. I made my own instead of printing them out. Everyday is a new set of verses to read. We are going to use it as a devotional. I love this and look forward to repeating it next year.

The second is a advent basket, I got the idea here. Everyday the kiddos will take the date and inside is either an activity we will all do or gift (of sorts). Some of the cards are make and bake cookies, Christmas music dance party, coloring books, themed movie night, or go look at Christmas lights. I know my daughter is going to love this. She is counting down the days until she gets to start.

I keep meaning to get together a progress with working out and everything, but with all the Christmas fun, its been pushed off. I'm sure sooner or later I will have an update on progress.
