 I guess part of having a blog, is upkeep.. which I have been REALLY bad at. Sorry.. if there are any readers.. as far as I can tell.. there's not, so then I'm not sorry. After finishing the program (woot!), I restarted, cutting out the first 2 weeks which are very basic. I finished week 4's last workout today, and tomorrow I start the 2nd phase again (no rest for the wicked the lazy). Its been nice not doing cardio. Can't say I miss it a whole lot. Just kidding I do. I'm looking forward to switching it up between running, stairmill and swimming.
 K- Bear with me here I'm going to get on a soap box. But I've heard quite a few women I know talk about dieting, and its bugging me. So I need to let it out.. :)
Ladies, stop dieting!!! Seriously! Put down that 100 calorie snack, step away from the diet soda and stop!! Limiting your calories, starving your body, being miserable is going to NOTHING but get you skinny fat (its a real thing look it up)!! What will work?? Believe it or not, eat 5-6 small meals a day, every 2-3 hours. Cut out refined flours and sugars, drink water, not soda (I know that's hard, but you can do it!!). Eat whole, clean foods (meaning whole wheat, veggies, fruit, meats). Typing that out is more complicated than it actually is. Its not hard. You won't feel deprived, you will feel energized. You won't feel hungry, and you will lose weight! For moms, feeling energized is soooo important. Its so amazing to have energy all day, feel full and satisfied. I fuel my body to energize it, not just feed it to survive, and the pay out is big. Trust me, its not a gimmick diet plan. I didn't think it would work for me, that I couldn't possibly eat that many times a day and see the scale drop down.. but it does work. Just stop dieting!!! Treat your body right. You only get one body. Don't go through your life yo yo dieting and hating on it. Fuel it, train it and you will love the results.

 I'm really jonesing for some competition.. Weird, right? I want to do another marathon at some point, but I'm not that ready for the training to put one on the calender. For now, I'm looking into a triathlon. I'm signing up for an indoor triathlon in the fall, just to give me a taste. I'm excited to try something new and put this power I'm building to use.
Well that is that. I'm so scatterbrained right now, which isn't too new a thing for me. Mia starts kindergarten next week! She's obviously excited to get back into a schedule school time.  I'm excited, but I'm having a hard time concentrating on in (see scatterbrained-ness). Luckily I have everything I need, I just need to fill out my lesson plans and we're set to go.. Probably should take a Starbucks date with myself and do it... probably.
